Once upon a
time, there lived a lion named Lione who wanders from one place to another, from
one mountain to another, from one forest to another; he was looking for someone
who is strong enough to be his opponent. One day, he entered the Darkwood of
Alamaniel, one of the toughest forests in the Middle Earth. He entered there
arrogantly and roared as hard as he can. And then he said, “Who is brave and
strong enough to challenge me, The Mighty Lione?” then, a gorilla came to him
from above, try to beat him with a surprise attack. But, Lione could avoid the
attack with his super-reflexes, and then bite the gorilla’s neck right away.
The gorilla died instantly. After that, a big rhinoceros ran toward him and ram
him with his big horn. Lione shocked for a second, but he laugh and then smash
the horn in two with his big sharp claws, the rhinoceros fell and then Lione
smash his skull with his big paw. The rhinoceros then died instantly. And then
Lione said, “Can nobody provide me with a decent challenge?” he hears nothing
but his own voice after that. He then walked arrogantly through the forest and spends
the night in a cave he found after walked for a while.
The morning
after that, a porcupine just happens to pass by the cave where Lione sleeps. He
is looking for food, and he didn’t know that there’s a vicious lion sleeping in
the cave. He then entered the cave to find more food. He accidentally stepped
on Lione’s tail and woke him up. “Who dares to interrupt my sleep?” said Lione
arrogantly. The porcupine shocked to death, and he just stood there in fear of
being eaten by the mighty lion. “You, you’re the one who dares to woke me from
my sleep, eh?” ask Lione, “P-pardon me, Your Grace. I’m just hungry and looking
for food, I didn’t realize that that you’re sleeping in this cave, Your Grace.”
said the porcupine in fear. “I don’t want to hear your excuses, because I’m
going to eat you now. I need something to fill my stomach so I can go out there
and challenge anybody who is strong enough to give me a decent challenge.” said
Lione as he tries to crush the porcupine with his big paw. The porcupine then
rolled his body and entered the defense mode, the needles in his back then just
popped out like a big firework. Lione’s paw hit it hard and he screamed. the porcupine’s needles
got stuck all over Lione’s paw. As Lione whining in pain, the porcupine ran
away from there as fast as he can, he managed to escape. Lione is still
whining. He keeps whining and roared. He smashes every rock in the cave, hoping
his pain would go away. After an hour, Lione’s paw started to turn blue, and he
can’t fell his paw. “What’s happening??!” screamed Lione, “I can’t feel my
right paw!!”. After 3 hours all his body turned blue, he couldn’t move a
muscle, he can even breath properly. He died minutes after. Turns out, the
porcupine's needles are poisoned. In the end, the mighty lion died miserably.
And the one who killed him is his own arrogance.
