Phantasy Star Universe (PSU) is an action roleplaying game by SEGA's Sonic Team for the PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360. In Japan, it was released for the PC and PlayStation 2 on August 31, 2006, with the Xbox 360 version releasing on December 12, 2006. Its North American release was on October 24, 2006, available in all formats. The European release date was November 24. The initial unveiling of the game was at E3 2004, with subsequent showing at the next E3, and then again at TGS 2005. A closed beta stress test for the servers took place between April and May 2006.
While Phantasy Star Universe is a hack and slash roleplaying game similar to the Phantasy Star Online (PSO) games, it takes place in a (presumably) different time period and location and has many new features. Like most of the PSO titles, PSU is playable in both a persistent online network mode and a full featured single-player story mode.
Phantasy Star 0 (ファンタジースターZERO), also known in Australia and Europe as Phantasy Star: ZERO and sometimes in North America as Phantasy Star Ø, is a Nintendo DS game in the Phantasy Star series, developed and published by Sega. The game was released in Japan on December 25, 2008 and in North America on November 10, 2009, and has been released in Europe on February 12, 2010. Though the official US release date was the 10th, the game was not available in stores until November 11, 2009[2]. The official website incorrectly lists the release date as November 12, 2009 because SEGA could not guarantee the game would be available nationwide on the 11th. The game expands on the gameplay mechanics of Phantasy Star Online, partly by borrowing some elements from fellow online Phantasy Star title Phantasy Star Universe, such as a fully-realized story mode for offline play.there are 3 different race in Phantasy Star Zero. There are :
- Human , The most and Numeros Race (with Human, you can play all of jobs, can use technique but cant use traps)
- Cast , the artificial body (Robot) (with Cast, You only can chosee 2 jobs, Hunter and Ranger. can use Traps but cant Use Technique)
- Newman , The lunar human (like Elf) (with Newman, you only can chosee 2 Jobs too. Hunter and Force. Can use a Powerful Technique)
- Beast, This race can change form to Animal with powerful attack and defense (PS Universe only)
